The movie will contain more seriously content that the previously movies can be called also a thriller. They have provided my generation with animated classics finding heart, humor, and emotion in ideas that seem poised to fail. I thought the story looked very lame from previews, and the concept didn't appeal to me. Owen Wilson is cheerful as Lightning McQueen, enough to watch him running around in circles on and off a race track. The main character will remain Lightning McQueen. They didn't overload the movie with automotive jokes, which I think would have hurt the story and character development.
Giving something like cars distinct personality and characterization seems like it would be pretty tough, and they do a great job with it. He will be police car. Kids who loved the first two films in this series will love this one too, but those of us who never understood the appeal of this series will gain very little from this one.
